These are the first two pages of the graphic story I am composing.  They aren't done yet, as you can no doubt tell by the blank white spaces in the sky.  The setting is an ambiguous city sometime in the future.  In this city, impressive things have been accomplished through science (such as instant teleportation), but there is a dark side both to these accomplishments and to the city itself.  I am trying to convey both these aspects of the story in this piece.  I'm not certain whether I'm succeeding. (???)
